not sure where to start so ill ramble best I can
what is a decent watch , to me I do not have a budget to go and buy a submariner , date just , speedmaster moon , cartier santos , I could probably afford 1 of them but couldn't purchase any other watches, so what should be purchased so as a real eye catcher , classy look, respected manufacture
I am new to this but am I right in thinking the forum members wouldn't buy fashion brands however nice they are ?
ie boss Armani guess etc
are forum members seen as being able to buy the best brand within their budget ?
so for example is a modern Seiko diver at £500 a worse buy than a longines dress watch from a previous decade with box and papers ?
I know its all down to your preference but in general do members hunt for older pieces with box and papers and only buy the very best quality in terms of scratches , etc
also what the heck is it with the archie luxury guy is he seen as a strange guy , not what watch collecting needs , with his four letter rants and swearing I do wonder what ive got into , I do like the guy with the cigar and shades from the usa and also like the british guy who has 3 computer screens behind him on his you tube channel , any thoughts
