I must apologise for the bodged job I did on writing about Vertex watches, and I only hope that the original topic plus my additional post on that thread make up a full write-up. I didn't realise that the story of Revue Thommen and Vertex was going to be so difficult to write, and right up until the last minute and final draft I was finding new contradictions in the source material. Unfortunately, just as I was finishing up the topic and putting in pictures etc., I accidentally clicked on "submit" and then didn't realise that there was only a limited time available for editing a topic before the forum system prevented a re-submission of the edited version. Stupidly, even when writing the extra addendum post, I once again accidentally pressed submit, so had only a limited time to add new illustrations.
Sometimes, fatigue and pain ultimately win out and this annoys me intensely. I just hope that readers of "Vertex "Revue" will still get the benefits of my research and manage to read and digest the topic as it has emerged on the forum, and i will try and do better next time.
