Now, I got quite excited today when I sore this watch on ebay. Having done a little research I believe it to be worth about £1k, whilst the listing read, "Buy it Now £50 or make an offer". The snag was that they live in Herefordshire (England West Country) and I live right over on the east coast, and the listing said collect only. I made the following offer, I would pay the full asking price plus postage on the condition it was in full working order and genuine. After many messages, some saying it is quartz and some saying it is mechanical I got skeptical. Not for one minute do I claim that my written English is perfect, but the sellers English was either pigeon or just awful. Anyway, they categorically refused to sell it to anyone from outside Herfeford, and would not post it. Looking back I sort of feel relieved, but I also feel I missed out.
