About four weeks or so ago mom commented that she fancied something like my CWC G10's but not so big (tiny wrist's) so off to e-bay I went and purchased this boys/ladies CATENA Quartz military style watch. With a ESA/ETA 951.111 hacking, quick date movement, and measuring 27.5mm including crown, 10mm deep, 29mm lug-lug and sporting a12mm green NATO strap.
Stripped down and crystal removed I just gave it a light clean not wanting to lose the well worn patina. Two 21.5 x 1.5 crystals arrived (did not go well with the first one and the second didn't seem to sit right either), A 21.4 and 21.3 duly ordered and delivered this morning the largest went in a treat, movement refitted and a green 12mm leather strap chosen over the red (was considering half and half but looked Naff). Time and date set and it is now ticking away sweetly ready for its new adventures with Mom.
